Kojima Productions and Xbox Teaser for New Horror Game
Kojima Productions and Xbox unveiled the first teaser of OD, a new horror game created by the Japanese developer using Unreal Engine 5.
Hideo Kojima, the renowned Japanese game creator, describes OD as a completely unique gaming experience, developed with a “special system.” He mentions, “Even the infrastructure is completely new, no one has done this before. So, I am running tests and experiments and I can’t reveal more. There are many hints in the video.”
Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft Gaming, expressed their full support for the project. He stated, “We are deeply committed to supporting the production. Our technical collaboration with the team using Unreal encompasses both the visible elements on the screen and the behind-the-scenes work.”
Supporting Kojima’s Vision
“Our objective is to bring Mr. Kojima’s vision to life for all players around the world, and we are excited for players to experience it once it’s ready,” Spencer added.
Despite the teaser and statements, OD’s release date is still unknown.
