Elon Musk’s xAI Company Developing AI-Generated Video Game
Elon Musk has announced that xAI, his company dedicated to artificial intelligence, is developing a video game with the goal of releasing it before the end of 2026.
Through the social network X, Musk informed followers that this is “a major game generated by AI,” but did not share details about the project, not even the genre in which it is set. Currently, the company is recruiting individuals to teach AI to create concepts, mechanics, and narratives.
Musk’s Ambition for AI-Generated Entertainment
The Business Insider recently reported that xAI is paying $100 per hour to employees who accept the challenge of training AI to produce a video game, indicating a significant effort on Musk’s part to develop games.
One of the billionaire’s ambitions is to use AI to create new forms of interactive entertainment, including video games. However, to date, there is no video game entirely created by AI, something Musk aims to pioneer.
