Get ready, gamers! Activision has just announced that players of Call of Duty will be able to embark on the 6th season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, titled “The Haunting”, with a spooky Halloween-themed twist.
This season brings a mix of iconic crossovers, allowing players to add well-known characters from the horror genre to their list of Operators. Characters like Lilith and Inarius from Diablo, a sinister duo known as the Mother and Father of Hell, will join the battle. The lineup also includes Skeletor, He-Man’s archenemy, as well as Ash Williams from Evil Dead and Alucard from the Hellsing manga series.
Along with these characters, players can also expect to see Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Lara Croft, and synthetic pets, making the battlefield a visually eclectic spectacle.
The 6th season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone begins on September 27th, allowing players to embrace the Halloween spirit with these new additions. It also sets the stage for the upcoming reveal event for Modern Warfare 3, scheduled to launch on November 10th, just over a year after the release of Modern Warfare 2.
