Lilo and Stitch: Disney’s Next Live-Action Adaptation
Lilo and Stitch hit theaters as Disney’s latest effort in their live-action adaptations, a plan that is set to continue with the strong possibility of more Lilo and Stitch live-action in the company’s near future. Not even the Snow White fiasco is stopping the company.
A Bright Future for Lilo and Stitch
Snow White failed so badly that it prompted Disney to pause some of its live-action adaptations, but Lilo and Stitch are seen with high confidence in the company, which is already preparing possible sequels and maybe Disney+ series inspired by the film.
For now, there are no concrete plans, but The Wall Street Journal reports that Disney is already exploring the possible adaptation of more material created from the original animation, even though Snow White failed at the box office.
