People Can Fly has canceled two projects in development, including the sequel to Outriders. The game, known as Project Gemini, was in the motion capture phase before being scrapped due to communication and funding issues with Square Enix. The cancellations led to layoffs of 50 employees, but the company plans to redistribute teams to other active projects.
