People Can Fly has canceled two projects in development, including the sequel to Outriders. The game, known as Project Gemini, was in the motion capture phase before being scrapped due to communication and funding issues with Square Enix. The cancellations led to layoffs of 50 employees, but the company plans to redistribute teams to other active projects. Despite the setbacks, People Can Fly continues to work on four games, including collaborations with Xbox Game Studios, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Krafton, as well as the VR title Lost Rift.
