Check out the first detailed look at Madden NFL 25 from EA Sports, focusing on Boom Tech, the next level of last year’s FieldSENSE. This new dynamic collision system will bring behaviors on the gridiron to life.
Players can expect improved player collision, better ball carrier logic, and timed Hit-Stick for enhanced animations and movements at every phase of the play, whether it’s pre-impact, during impact, or post-impact.
EA Sports claims that their systems can now determine details like direction, intensity, and body positions at the moment of impact for trajectory calculations, while animation enhancements will deliver more realistic scenes.
The improved Hit-Stick, complete with visual and sound effects, allows you to time your hit perfectly on a ball carrier to stop them in their tracks. The system is said to be more fun, with added visual cues for an even more intense experience.
On the offensive side, Madden NFL 25 introduces new features like one-handed catches, if the player has the skill level, and promises improved controls and variety for both ball carrying and catching.
Madden NFL 25 is set to release on August 16, complete with the new Kick-off rules.
