Sony and Other Companies Donate to Help Firefighters and Victims
After a week of ongoing wildfires, Sony and several other companies are stepping up to donate and support the teams working to combat the fires and assist the victims, as well as aid in the rebuilding efforts in the affected communities.
Sony’s CEO, Kenichiro Yoshida, along with President Hiroki Totoki, announced a donation of approximately 5 million euros to help firefighters and communities affected by the fires. In a joint message, they expressed their commitment to supporting the recovery efforts and helping the victims in the entertainment hub of Los Angeles.
In addition to Sony’s contribution, other companies like Amazon, Netflix, Comcast, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Paramount have also announced significant donations ranging from 1 million to 15 million euros to support firefighters and victims in the ongoing crisis. The outpouring of support from these companies is crucial in providing much-needed aid to those affected by the devastating fires.
