The Aniplex and Type-Moon have announced that two pages of the art book in the PlayStation 4 version of TSUKIHIME -A piece of blue glass moon- have been modified to comply with Sony’s release policies. This censorship issue does not affect the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
TSUKIHIME -A piece of blue glass moon- is a remake of a visual novel originally released for PC in 2000. The game is set to be officially released outside of Japan on June 27 in the United States, almost three years after its Japanese release. The limited edition physical version of the game includes an art book, with two pages modified for the PlayStation 4 version.
Aniplex has clarified that the game itself will not be altered in any version. Fans eagerly awaiting the visual novel release now have the information needed to make an informed choice, particularly if they want to experience the version that remains true to the original vision.
