Players testing the beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have stumbled upon an interesting occurrence: if they try to type Arc Raiders in the in-game chat, the words get automatically censored with hashtags. What’s peculiar is that this doesn’t happen with other competing games like Battlefield 6, which can be mentioned without any issue.
The censorship only kicks in when both words, Arc and Raiders, are together in the message. Individual words don’t trigger the block. Interestingly, the same censorship was spotted in the EA App chat as well, but it was promptly fixed once it was brought to light.
Despite this quirky incident, the Black Ops 7 beta has been running smoothly. New game modes and adjustments were introduced over the weekend, and while there have been instances of cheaters, Activision claims that most of them have already been handled.
