The Netflix streaming service has released a new trailer for Pluto, an adaptation of the manga by Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki.
Scheduled to debut on October 26, Pluto offers a fresh perspective on Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy, presenting the adventures of the robot boy in a more realistic and cyberpunk tone.
Naoki Urasawa expresses his desire for this project to help spread the “message of Osamu Tezuka” globally, with the support of Netflix. Produced by M2STUDIO in collaboration with Macoto Tezuka, son of the legendary Japanese creator, the series has finally come to fruition six years after its announcement.

After years of anticipation, Pluto will be available for streaming worldwide on Netflix, fulfilling the vision of reaching a broader audience with Tezuka’s legacy.
