One Piece Fan Letter: A New Animated Short
One Piece Fan Letter is set to arrive on Netflix shortly after its debut on Japanese TV as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of Eiichiro Oda’s work. This animated short adapts a collection of short stories by Tomohito Osaki into a new format.
Plot and Setting
Set in the One Piece world, One Piece Fan Letter focuses on characters without special powers and explores how the Straw Hat crew unknowingly impacts their lives. Written by Momoka Toyoda, the story follows a young protagonist on the Sabaody Archipelago, two years after the Paramount War, who idolizes Nami and dreams of meeting her in person.
The official premiere in Japan is scheduled for October 20th, with Netflix releasing the animated short on October 24th. Fans can anticipate embarking on this new One Piece adventure soon!
