Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the pre-orders for the limited edition collection of Ghost of Yōtei, featuring consoles and Dualsense controllers inspired by Sucker Punch’s new game. The collection offers two sets, one in gold and another in black, both drawing inspiration from the fictional representation of the Ezo region, now known as Hokkaido, created by Sucker Punch for this edition. This allows fans to purchase consoles and controllers with aesthetics closely tied to the game.
The PlayStation 5 Console – Ghost of Yōtei Limited Edition Gold takes its inspiration from kintsugi, a traditional technique for repairing cracked ceramic pieces with lacquer and gold. Priced at 599.99 euros, this console can be pre-ordered at retailers or on PlayStation Direct. Included with the console is a Dualsense controller featuring the same striking aesthetic, available for separate purchase at 84.99 euros.
On the other hand, the PlayStation 5 Console – Ghost of Yōtei Limited Edition Black showcases a design inspired by sumi-e, known for its use of black ink in paintings that capture the mystery and beauty of the game’s landscapes. Like its golden counterpart, this console is priced at 599.99 euros and available for pre-order at select retailers or on PlayStation Direct. It also comes with a corresponding Dualsense controller, sold separately for 84.99 euros.
Both sets in the collection feature a special manufacturer’s seal engraved with the iconic shapes of the PlayStation on the back of the console’s top cover and the DualSense wireless controllers. Additionally, purchasers will receive a digital copy of the game and exclusive pre-order digital content, including a unique in-game mask, a set of seven avatars for PSN featuring conceptual art by Atsu, and each member of the Six of Yōtei.
