Blizzard’s Plan for Diablo 4 Expansion
Blizzard is looking to strengthen the value of the first paid expansion for Diablo 4, called Vessel of Hatred, with a plan that includes releasing exclusive features for those who purchase the content.
In a conversation with Polygon, Rod Fergusson, the head of the Diablo series, revealed that “it may feel a bit like this expansion is just a single moment in time and I just wanted to highlight that’s not the case. We will continue to develop features that will basically be exclusive to Vessel of Hatred owners.”
Fergusson did not clarify the specific exclusive features they are preparing for those who buy the expansion, but mentioned that they will extend beyond the current season, possibly even until the arrival of the next expansion.
