Excitement Over Nintendo Switch 2
Dennis Shirk, executive producer of Civilization, expressed his team’s enthusiasm for the Nintendo Switch 2 and their experience working with Nintendo. He highlighted the spectacular development kit, customer support, and producer relations. Shirk stated, “They knew they wanted Civ on that platform, as it is a fantastic showcase for the touch screen, which blends well with the existing PC audience due to cross-play.”
Praise for Improved Performance
The Hogwarts Legacy team at Avalanche Software also commended the power of the Nintendo Switch 2. They were able to reduce loading times between areas compared to the first Switch version, enhance lighting, textures, image sharpness, and more. The performance improvements have allowed them to deliver a better gaming experience on the new console.
