Kiefer Sutherland’s Wish to Wrap Up Jack Bauer’s Story
Actor Kiefer Sutherland has revealed his wish to bring closure to the story of Jack Bauer, the iconic character from the series 24. He praised the already written material and expressed his enthusiasm for it.
Howard Gordon’s Vision for the Future of 24
During a recent interview in Canada, Sutherland mentioned that Howard Gordon, the executive producer of 24, “already has an idea that I like.” He went on to say, “Before, the material was not written, so I would have to say ‘it’s not me that’s in the way,’ but something was written. I think it’s really good. I think it’s really strong.”
While Sutherland appreciates Gordon’s script, he cannot confirm whether 24 season 10 will move forward, as the rights now belong to Disney. He explained, “It has to go through different channels before it is approved or not.” However, he remains hopeful, stating, “Like everything else, it’s something I would really like to do. I would like to conclude this story. It’s still open. So, keep your fingers crossed. There’s a possibility. We’ve taken important steps.”
