When it comes to summer blockbusters in Hollywood, there are a few names that are really making waves. DC Studios’ Superman is one of them, helping Warner Bros. dominate the box office in the first 7 months of 2025.
Superman Takes Flight
Superman soared past the $406 million mark at the box office, with a whopping 58% coming from the US. Thanks to the dynamic duo of James Gunn and Peter Safran, Warner Bros. has seen not one, not two, but SIX films hit the number one spot, spending a total of 9 weeks in the top position.
Jurassic World: Rebirth and Beyond
Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World: Rebirth, featuring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali, has roared its way to becoming one of the top 4 hits of 2025, bringing in a massive $648 million. That’s more than recent hits like Mission: Impossible and How to Train Your Dragon.
F1: The Movie zoomed to $461 million, Lilo & Stitch crossed the billion-dollar mark, 28 Years Later made $145 million, and Pixar’s Elio brought in $130 million.
