The CangMo Game Entertainment has recently revealed the first gameplay of Project: Jinyiwei, an exciting new action RPG set in the Ming Dynasty that might just remind you of Team Ninja’s Nioh.
In Project: Jinyiwei, players will follow the story of a character living in the final days of the Ming Dynasty, caught in the midst of a dangerous conspiracy. Through significant events, this character will evolve into a skilled warrior and eventually a knight devoted to safeguarding his nation.
The development team’s goal is to deliver a unique narrative set in a historical period, allowing players to witness the remarkable journey of a warrior who rises to prominence among the key figures in his country’s history.
During ChinaJoy 2024, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that Project: Jinyiwei is part of the China Hero Project, an initiative that supports independent studios from regions not traditionally associated with console game development.
