Hogwarts Legacy: Breaking Records in the UK
Hogwarts Legacy took the crown as the best-selling physical game in the UK in 2023, dethroning the EA Sports football game that had been dominating the charts since 2013.
According to data from Gfk, previously ruled by FIFA games, now known as EA Sports FC, Hogwarts Legacy made history by becoming the top-selling game of the year from Warner Bros Games Entertainment.
The game saw the most sales on PlayStation 5, followed by the PS4 version, and then the Nintendo Switch. With the PS5 version hitting the shelves in February, followed by the PS4 version in May, and the Nintendo Switch version in November.
Set 100 years before the events of the famous books and movies, Hogwarts Legacy expands the magical universe through an action RPG, captivating fans and newcomers alike.
