The 2024 Steam Awards winners have been announced by Valve, based on community voting across 11 different categories.
Game of the Year award was claimed by Black Myth: Wukong, the highly acclaimed title from Game Science, winning in categories like “Best game you play badly” and “Exceptional storyline.”
Other popular games nominated for Game of the Year included Balatro, Helldivers 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
Additional winners include Helldivers 2 for “Best with friends,” God of War Ragnarok for “Best game on the Steam Deck,” and Elden Ring for “Made with love.”
