Dying Light: The Beast – The next phase of the action and survival series
Dying Light: The Beast is the next chapter in Techland’s action and survival series. Players will once again find themselves facing hordes of infected in an open world, utilizing parkour and melee combat. The game continues to focus on verticality and the day/night cycle that has become a trademark of the series.
Release date and improvements
The game is scheduled to be launched on September 19, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with versions for PS4 and Xbox One to follow shortly. Following a delay announced in July, the developer has ensured that the additional time was dedicated to refining animations, physics, and game balance.
PC requirements and supported technologies
Techland has now unveiled the final specifications for PC, as well as support for technologies such as NVIDIA’s DLSS 4, AMD’s FSR 4, and Intel’s XeSS 2. Additionally, the game will feature ray tracing for global illumination and reflections, HDR support, ultra-wide options, and reduced latency functionalities like NVIDIA Reflex 2, AMD Anti-Lag 2, and Intel Xe Low Latency.
