Crunchyroll has announced a price increase for its streaming service in various countries, including Portugal, along with a reduction in the free trial period.
Changes in Subscription Tiers and Pricing
Instead of a 14-day free trial period, Crunchyroll now offers a 7-day free trial period, along with adjusted prices for its subscription tiers. The Fan tier is priced at 5.99 euros per month, while the Mega Fan tier costs 7.99 euros per month. Additionally, an annual Mega Fan subscription is available for 79.99 euros for 12 months of access.
History of Pricing Changes
Crunchyroll highlights that it had not increased prices since 2019. In fact, in 2022, the service even reduced prices in more than 100 countries where it is available.
