Keanu Reeves Interested in Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel
Keanu Reeves has expressed his desire to return to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 by reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand in the game’s upcoming sequel, currently known as Project Orion. In an interview with IGN, the actor stated, “Of course. I would love to play Johnny Silverhand again.”
Details about the Sequel
The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 has been in pre-production since May 2025, with a projected release date at least four to five years away. Despite the extended timeline, information regarding the storyline and characters remains scarce.
During the Digital Dragons 2025 event, Cyberpunk universe creator Mike Pondsmith shared insights into the game’s setting. In addition to the familiar Night City, players can expect to explore a new city with a corrupt aesthetic reminiscent of Chicago. This new location will offer a departure from the Blade Runner-inspired atmosphere of Night City, presenting a darker and more decadent perspective.
