Introducing Sanda: The New Anime Adaptation from the Creator of Beastars
Science Saru has garnered worldwide attention with Dan Da Dan. Before diving into the third season of this remarkable anime, they are bringing us Sanda, the adaptation of a work by Paru Itagaki, the creator of Beastars.
A Glimpse into the World of Sanda
Itagaki envisions a near-future Japan where the birth rate is alarmingly low, making each child a precious and closely monitored commodity. In this world, even Santa Claus is seen as a potential threat to children.
On December 25th, Kazushige Sanda, a descendant of Santa Claus, is approached by a classmate who requests his help in finding their friend, Ono. Committed to safeguarding children from the intentions of adults, Sanda will assume the role of Santa Claus and confront the grown-ups.
Sanda is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 3rd, with the anime available for viewing on Amazon’s Prime Video.
