Rumors of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PS5
New rumors suggest that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 could be making its way to the PS5 in November of this year. According to the Polish website PPE.pl, the Sony console version will be released in both physical and digital formats.
Xbox Games Expansion to PlayStation 5
Recently, several games that were once exclusive to Xbox, such as Sea of Thieves, Grounded, and Forza Horizon 5, have made their way to the PlayStation 5. In fact, Forza Horizon 5 became the best-selling game on the console in 2025. Sources have also hinted at Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 being one of the next Xbox games to be released on other platforms later this year.
Flight Simulator on PlayStation for the First Time
If these rumors are true, this will mark the first time the Flight Simulator series will be available on a PlayStation console. The 2024 edition, which was released in November 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, introduced new features such as a career mode, new types of missions, and a reduction in game size thanks to cloud streaming technology.
With the Tokyo Game Show 2025 set to take place between September 25 and 28, there is a possibility that Microsoft will use the event to officially announce the game’s arrival on the PlayStation 5.
