Konami is aware of the demand for Metal Gear Solid 4 on current platforms
Konami knows that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (also known as “It’s all the Nanomachines’ fault”) is stuck on the PlayStation 3, and they are aware that fans want to play it on a current platform.
Noriaki Okamura, a producer at Konami leading current major efforts, including the remake of the third game, admitted that they are aware of this demand and mentioned that the first collection includes the first three Metal Gear Solid games, so it’s just a matter of doing the math.
In a conversation with IGN, shared by Gamingbolt, Okamura said that besides getting things done, it’s best for fans to stay tuned as there is currently nothing to announce.
Since the release of the first collection, there have been several hints about Metal Gear Solid 4 being included in a second collection, but for now, there is no official confirmation.
