Piotr Nielubowicz and Michał Nowakowski recently presented the financial results of CD Projekt RED for the first half of 2024. It was revealed that The Witcher 4 – currently called Project Polaris – is about to reach an important milestone.
“The Project Polaris team is maintaining the right scale to enter the production phase very soon, and our work on announced and unannounced projects is progressing,” said co-CEO Michał Nowakowski.
The Witcher 4 will soon enter production with 410 active developers. CD Projekt as a whole hired nine employees in total between April and the end of July, with three additional employees on Project Polaris, four on Project Orion, and three on Project Sirius. In short, there was no disruption in the workforce.
CD PROJEKT Group’s revenues in the first half of 2024 totaled 425 million PLN (about 100 million euros), mainly driven by the sales of Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion – Phantom Liberty. The group reported 170 million PLN (39 million euros) in consolidated profits.
