Tekken 8 Update 2.05: What’s New?
The latest update for Tekken 8, version 2.05, has just been released, bringing a mix of fixes and new features based on player feedback. But what caught everyone by surprise was a rather unexpected correction highlighted by Katsuhiro Harada.
Character Ratios and Collision Fixes
One of the key additions in Tekken 8 v2.05 is the ability to track your win ratio against each character. This feature allows you to easily identify your toughest opponents and focus on developing strategies to counter them. The update also includes several adjustments and fixes for collision detection issues with various moves, as well as addressing errors related to online match waiting times.
Harada also mentioned, “Adjustments have been made to correct an issue where identical chest parameters had been applied across certain characters, ensuring that the modifications now reflect the distinctive proportions of each individual character.”
Despite the subtle differences in comparative GIFs due to fixed viewing angles, the changes are much more pronounced when viewed in the game’s 3D environment compared to the previous version.
Asuka’s Neck Adjustment
Additionally, the Tekken team has made adjustments to Asuka’s neck to create a more stable model, especially suited to work better with certain customization options.
