Silent Hill 2 Remake Exclusivity Coming to an End
The PlayStation 5 exclusivity of the Silent Hill 2 remake on consoles seems to be coming to an end. On October 8th, the Silent Hill 2 remake will complete its first year of availability, which means 12 months as a PS5 exclusive on consoles, where it arrived on October 8, 2024, along with the PC version.
Possibility of More Platforms
In addition to the timeframe itself sparking curiosity about the possibility of the end of exclusivity, two logo spaces were spotted on the official website of the Silent Hill 2 remake, suggesting that Konami and Bloober are ready to add more platforms. The Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series seem to be strong possibilities for the release of the Silent Hill 2 remake on more platforms, but for now we only have the first anniversary and this update on the official website, as Konami has not officially commented yet.
