Mark Rolston confirms new Batman game in virtual reality
Batman: Arkham Shadow is considered one of the top titles for virtual reality and has been highly praised as one of Meta’s successful projects in this field. This success has sparked interest in the production of more games, as indicated by a recent comment from one of the actors involved.
Mark Rolston, known for his role as Commissioner Gordon in Batman: Arkham Shadow, revealed in an interview at Fan Expo Chicago 2025 that he is gearing up to work on a new game, though he did not disclose the specific title as Batman: Arkham Shadow 2.
New challenge as Commissioner Gordon
When discussing his experiences as a voice actor in different projects such as Blade Runner and Spider-Man, Rolston mentioned his upcoming work on a new Batman game.
“In the Blade Runner game, I provided the voices, while in Spider-Man, I did motion capture, voice acting, and more. It was a similar experience in the Batman Arkham Shadow VR game. We are now getting ready for another project like that. This time, I will be portraying Commissioner Gordon.”
Therefore, Rolston’s confirmation hints at a new Batman game in virtual reality, signaling that Meta and Camouflaj are looking to build on the success of Batman: Arkham Shadow.
