Far Cry 5 has achieved an incredible feat: since its release in 2018, the game has already reached 30 million players!
This is truly an amazing accomplishment for a game that is already 5 years old, and was certainly helped by the recent update aimed at the new generation consoles that made the game available at 60fps.
The news was announced on Far Cry 5’s official Twitter where it reads:
“Over 30 million players have joined the fight against Joseph Seed’s cult since the release of Far Cry 5, 5 years ago. Thank you for taking this journey with us. We’re glad you’re enjoying the Far Cry 5 Anniversary celebration and the new 60 FPS patch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.”
Far Cry 5 received a Recommended seal in our analysis and this was our verdict: “Explore the American essence in a Far Cry that embodies the series’ soul and benefits from Ubisoft’s refreshed approach to open worlds.” You can read the full review here.
