More Layoffs Coming in Xbox Division
Microsoft is set to announce another round of layoffs in the Xbox division, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. This would be the fourth major wave of job cuts in 18 months, following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023.
Thousands of Employees to be Affected
Reports suggest that Microsoft will be laying off thousands of employees, mainly from the sales department. The layoffs are expected to be announced next week, possibly in relation to the end of the fiscal year on June 30.
