The Lost and Found Mask of Yoko Taro
Yoko Taro, the director of Nier Automata, is known for his extravagant style that includes a chilling Emil mask.
However, during a recent trip to Los Angeles, Taro reportedly lost this mask at a bar. It’s worth noting that the Anime Expo 2023 took place in LA last weekend and the director was there to participate in a panel.
Nevertheless, this minor mishap didn’t stop the director from attending the Anime Expo with a new mask – something that appears to be a stereotypical Irish leprechaun from a costume store.
You can see this new mask in the tweet below, along with the message: “This is Yoko Taro in his new mask that he chose from a costume store in Los Angeles after his original one was lost at a bar.”
