Apex Legends: Potential for Adaptation
With Hollywood fully embracing the video game industry, Electronic Arts believes that Apex Legends is a property with strong potential for adaptation into a series or film.
Laura Miele, president of EA Entertainment, told Variety that there is immense potential in the universe of Apex Legends, with countless stories to tell, including glimpses into the past of the legends, narratives that have not yet been explored.
Miele even said that this is a universe rich in stories, that fans still do not fully know the stories of all the legends, which “can come to life through linear format and partnerships.”
Future Plans for Apex Legends Universe
More than that, Miele even says that they are very motivated to transform the Apex Legends universe into a series or film, but when they do, it will be in a way that respects the franchise.
We live in an era in which Electronic Arts is preparing a Sims movie, so nothing will be surprising anymore.
