The Ubisoft is one of the publishers and producers ready to throw their support behind the “successor to the Nintendo Switch,” unofficially known as the Nintendo Switch 2, with plans to release the latest Assassin’s Creed games on the new console.
According to the French BMFTV, who spoke with their sources close to Ubisoft after comments from NateTheHate on their latest podcast and information from Tech&Co, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage for the Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive first in 2025, followed by Assassin’s Creed: Shadows sometime later this year. These versions are being developed ambitiously to take advantage of the capabilities of the new hardware prepared by Nintendo.
Ubisoft will choose to release Shadows later on the Switch 2 to showcase a high-quality game on the new console, as part of their plan to support the console, which also includes releasing new games.
