Resident Evil 9 is currently in production at Capcom, with the company officially confirming the development of a new game in its incredibly popular line of action, horror, and survival games.
Potential Release Date
While specific details about the progress of the project are still unknown, ScreenFire Germany reports that Resident Evil 9 will be unveiled in the coming days, on June 6 at the Summer Game Fest, with a planned release for early 2026.
The original Resident Evil was released in March 1996, leading ScreenFire Germany to believe that Resident Evil 9 will be launched in March 2026 as part of the series’ 30th-anniversary celebrations.
