HBO’s Harry Potter Series: Daniel Radcliffe’s Take
The HBO announced a few months ago that a series based on the Harry Potter books was in production; since then, little else has been revealed about the project.
Speculation about the possible return of the original film cast is high. Recently, actor Daniel Radcliffe – who played Harry Potter in the eight films of the saga – was asked about a possible cameo in the series.
“I think not,” he says. “I think they very wisely want to have a clean start. And I don’t know if it would work if we were involved. I’m very happy to just watch with everyone else.”
The Harry Potter series is expected to premiere in 2026 but a delay is always possible. Unfortunately, at this time, we still know very little about it and no cast names have even been announced.
