Square Enix’s Plan to Expand Final Fantasy 7 Remake to Nintendo and Microsoft Platforms
A Square Enix has already expressed its desire to make the remake of Final Fantasy 7 available to more players, something that could happen as early as 2025 with the release of versions for Nintendo and Microsoft Gaming platforms.
Expanding the Reach
NatetheHate, a well-known source of information (one of the first to talk about Hi-Fi Rush on PS5, but also the one who mentioned Starfield on PS5 in 2024), stated in his latest podcast that Square Enix will indeed release the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy on more platforms.
According to the source, the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series will receive Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade in 2025, while Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will arrive on these two platforms sometime in 2026.
While fans await the third game on PS5 and PC players receive the second part on January 23, Nintendo and Xbox players will receive the first part this year, according to this information.
