MultiVersus Open Beta Closure and Final Version Release
Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games have announced that the open beta for MultiVersus will end on June 25th, with the final version set to be available sometime in early 2024.
On April 4th, the paid versions of the beta will be removed from digital stores, along with Gleamium, the digital currency available for purchase with real money. About 3 months later, the beta will be closed, and the team will focus on using what they have learned to create the best possible experience in the final version.
The team understands that there is still a lot of work to be done, but they also know what they need to focus on and have learned valuable lessons, such as the pace of new content releases, whether it be characters, maps, or modes. Additionally, they will update the netcode and matchmaking, while the progression system will be revamped.
