Elden Ring: Nightreign adds two-player mode in latest update
The highly anticipated two-player mode for Elden Ring: Nightreign has finally arrived with the 1.02 update on July 30th. Players can now team up and tackle the challenges of the game together, a feature that has been eagerly awaited since the game’s launch.
Exciting new features and updates
Previously, Nightreign only supported cooperative play for three players, leaving many craving a more intimate gaming experience. The introduction of the two-player mode has been well received by the community, addressing one of the most common requests from fans. Additionally, the update brings improvements to the interface and new options for organizing Relics, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

In addition to the release of the two-player mode, FromSoftware revealed that Nightreign has already sold over 5 million units, showcasing the game’s popularity. Meanwhile, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for the original Elden Ring has reached a milestone of 10 million copies sold. Players can also look forward to new events like the Everdark Sovereigns, featuring challenging new bosses for players to conquer. The next wave of Nightlords is set to arrive on July 31st, giving players the option to tackle them in pairs for an added challenge.
