A couple of weeks back, Naughty Dog announced The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, an upgraded version for PS5 of their 2020 game. The remaster introduces several new features, such as the Lost Levels, but the standout addition is the roguelike survival mode called No Return. A gameplay trailer for this mode has been released, showing us how it functions.
In No Return, players can select their hero from characters like Ellie, Dina, Jesse, or Abby, upgrade weapons, and face off against a range of enemies in different locations. The mode offers a new single-player experience, where players must survive as long as possible through random encounters, leading up to challenging boss battles.
Unique game modifiers add unexpected challenges, giving players the chance to play as various characters and unlock skins as they progress. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is set to release on January 19th, so be sure to check out the trailer for a sneak peek at what’s to come.
