NetherRealm Studios Reveals New Gameplay for Mortal Kombat 1
NetherRealm Studios is preparing to showcase more gameplay for Mortal Kombat 1, where they will reveal new characters for the roster.
After their presence at the Summer Game Fest 2023 with Geoff Keighley and the online test, the company is gearing up to unveil a new batch of updates. Ed Boon, one of the main figures behind the series, mentioned that new gameplay for Mortal Kombat 1 will be coming soon.
The first Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Kast is scheduled for July 6 and will bring news about Scorpion and Johnny Cage. Boon hinted that NetherRealm may also showcase more gameplay and introduce new characters.
Confirmed Characters and Release Date
Confirmed characters for the game include Liu Kang, Raiden, Kitana, Mileena, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Reiko, Kenshi, and Shang Tsung as the main fighters. Additionally, Sub-Zero, Goro, Stryker, Kano, Jax Briggs, and Sonya Blade are listed as Kameo Fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is set to release on September 14.
