The Japanese trailer for Devil May Cry was revealed by Netflix at AnimeJapan 2025, confirming the voice actors for the main characters. Toshiyuki Morikawa voices Dante, Fumiko Orikasa voices Lady, and Hiroaki Hirata voices Vergil in this eight-episode production produced by Adi Shankar. Studio Mir from Korea assisted in creating the episodes.
Devil May Cry will premiere on Netflix on April 3, a new adaptation of Capcom’s work with collaboration from the game producer, Hideaki Itsuno, as a consultant and executive producer. Itsuno, a key figure associated with the series, has since left Capcom.
The project’s synopsis hints at sinister forces at play in the portal between human and demon realms, with Dante, an orphan demon hunter, unknowingly holding the fate of both worlds in his hands.
