The Dambuster Studios, the team behind Dead Island 2, has recently unveiled a trailer for the game’s new cooperative mode. Neighborhood Watch, as it is called, immerses players in the shoes of the Bobcats, a group of college students defending their residence from an imminent zombie attack.
This new mode will unfold over a span of five days, during which the first four days will be dedicated to completing objectives, collecting resources, and constructing defenses. On the fifth day, chaos ensues, and failing to survive will result in unlocking new abilities for subsequent attempts.
Scheduled for release on October 22, just in time for Halloween, Neighborhood Watch will be included in a free patch. Additionally, the update will introduce a New Game+ mode, a feature that fans have been eagerly anticipating. This mode will allow players to revisit the main story with their favorite characters and weapons, while also adding more skill options and raising the level cap.
