PlayStation 5 Slim: Rumores e Possibilidades
After several rumors about the possible launch of a PlayStation 5 Slim in 2023, we have Microsoft including this information in the documents presented to the court, in the legal process against the FTC for the approval of the Activision acquisition.
According to Microsoft, PlayStation is the market leader and its PS5 has already sold many more units than the Xbox Series, allowing Sony to enjoy a comfortable lead over the rival console, something that could increase even more with the arrival of the Slim model.
Microsoft states that Sony is preparing a PlayStation 5 Slim for release soon and even suggests it will cost 399 euros, which will increase the appeal of the console and help sell even more units.
This does not mean that Microsoft has full knowledge of Sony’s plans and is revealing them in court. It may just be an attempt to guess the rival’s plans, but Microsoft suggests that Sony will take an aggressive stance for this new phase of the PS5 and needs to position itself to respond accordingly.
