Recently, Thomas Puha from Remedy Entertainment confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles with a mode that allows you to target performance at 60fps, but did not include the Series S in his comment.
In response to some confusion arising from the absence of the Xbox Series S as a console with a 60fps Performance Mode in Alan Wake 2, Game Informer decided to question Remedy about this information, and it was confirmed that it was not a mistake by Puha.
According to the studio, the 60fps Performance Mode will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, as mentioned earlier, and on the Xbox Series S you will be able to play at 30fps.
Puha stated that Alan Wake 2 “was built from the ground up as a 30fps experience, focused on visuals and atmosphere, but somehow we managed to include a solid Performance Mode.”
However, we still do not know the resolutions for each mode on each console and if we will have dynamic values for image and performance.
