Ananta: A New Urban RPG Experience
NetEase Games and Naked Rain have released a trailer showcasing over 7 minutes of gameplay from Ananta, a new urban open-world RPG that will be available for free.
Ananta offers players the freedom to explore an anime-inspired city, complete missions, or simply wander around to enjoy various activities. With an intriguing cast, you can create your own adventure in Ananta by blending adventure with exploration.
Described as a kind of “GTA Anime” from China, Ananta aims to immerse players in a lively city with many points of interest, interactive locations, and features that enhance immersion, making you feel like you are part of a living city.
Players will have the chance to participate in missions as part of Ananta’s storyline. In moments of relaxation, players can enjoy the intelligent NPC ecosystem, walk in parks, help people in their daily lives, and even take part in city races.
Dynamic Combat and Diverse Platforms
NetEase also mentions that the combat system in Ananta promotes freedom and improvisation, allowing players to use elements of the environment as weapons, as the surroundings are highly dynamic and interactive.
Ananta will be available for PS5, PC, iOS, and Android on a date yet to be announced.
