Assassin’s Creed Shadows Graphic Options Revealed for PS5 and PS5 Pro
Ubisoft is gearing up to release Assassin’s Creed Shadows on March 20, 2025, and has revealed the graphical options available for players on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. The game offers three visual modes – Performance, Fidelity, and Balanced – allowing you to adjust the experience according to your preference between smoothness and graphic quality.
Visual Modes on PS5 and PS5 Pro
In the PS5, the Performance mode features 60fps at 2160p with upscaling, but with selective ray tracing, limited to diffuse lighting in the hideout. The Fidelity and Balanced modes include standard ray tracing, applied to all diffuse lighting in the game world, but operate at 30fps and 40fps, respectively.
On the PS5 Pro, the Performance mode maintains 60fps and upscaling to 2160p, but enhances the ray tracing compared to the standard version, covering all diffuse lighting in the game. In the Fidelity and Balanced modes, the PS5 Pro allows for extended ray tracing, adding diffuse and reflective global lighting, ensuring a higher level of visual realism.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in feudal Japan in the 16th century and allows you to switch between two protagonists with different gameplay styles: Naoe, an agile ninja, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai. The main campaign lasts between 30 and 40 hours, but players who explore all the content can exceed 80 hours of gameplay.
