Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Claws of Awaji is the expansion that Ubisoft is working on, new content that will be added for free to the game after its release.
Release Date and New Information
Originally scheduled for November 2024, Shadows was postponed to February 2025 and more recently delayed to March 20, 2025. However, new information was discovered through the game’s official page on Steam.
Before Valve removed the Claws of Awaji description, Assassin’s Creed Shadows fans were able to spot the information, including the fact that the expansion will feature over 10 hours of gameplay, take you to a new region, the island of Awaji in central Japan, introduce a new weapon, the Bō, new abilities, equipment, and enemies.
Narrative Details
Regarding the narrative of Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Claws of Awaji, it is described that you will have to search for a “lost treasure”, in an additional experience that will make you feel “the fear of being hunted and under threat”.
Updated Steam page for AC Shadows reveals the first expansion, Claws of Awaji. It will contain a new explorable area, a new weapon type (the Bō), and over 10 hours of additional content.
