Baldur’s Gate 3: A Massive Success
Baldur’s Gate 3 was a huge success for Larian, having garnered multiple awards (including Game of the Year at The Game Awards).
The public itself was captivated by the RPG, with the game surpassing a major milestone on Steam: at the time of writing this news, Baldur’s Gate 3 boasts 500,623 reviews that are “extremely positive.”
Larian’s founder, Swen Vincke, was not indifferent to the achievement of his game, using his X account to share a message of thanks. Here’s what he said:
“Thank you everyone! Half a million is a real big number. I wish we could get all of you in one place, shake your hands and chat about the adventure you had. But in the absence of that, reading these reviews has been pure joy.”
You can see the post below. This is the official description of Baldur’s Gate 3:
“Captive, adrift, and losing control. You are turning into a monster, but as corruption spreads within you, so does your power grow. Forge a tale of friendship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, of fascination with absolute power. You and your group find yourselves embroiled in a conflict between demons, deities, and sinister supernatural forces that will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms.”
