Exciting News for Xbox Players
The highly anticipated arrival of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox Series X|S consoles has been officially confirmed for next month, in December. The specific release date will be revealed during the 2023 edition of The Game Awards, scheduled for December 7th.
This announcement is creating a growing excitement among enthusiasts eager to dive into the epic experience that Baldur’s Gate 3 promises to offer on the Xbox Series X|S platforms.
Expansion of Accessibility
Larian Studios, the studio behind Baldur’s Gate 3, has announced intriguing news for Xbox players and fans of physical releases. Originally launched for PC in August and later for PS5 and Mac, Baldur’s Gate 3 was previously only available in digital format. However, Larian Studios has hinted at expanded accessibility, particularly for Xbox users and fans of physical formats.
The release of Baldur’s Gate 3 for Xbox was initially set for earlier this year but faced delays as Larian worked to ensure a consistent standard for split-screen cooperative mode on the Series X and S consoles. During a recent meeting with Microsoft’s Head of Gaming, Larian’s CEO, Swen Vincke, confirmed that the Xbox version would finally arrive by the end of this year, after the removal of split-screen cooperation on the Series S to guarantee a seamless gaming experience.
